NHS Graduate Digital, Data & Technology Scheme

Recruiting for organisations in the North West, North East, Midlands, Yorkshire & Humberside, South East, South West, East of England and London.

The NHS Graduate DDaT scheme assesses over 10,000 candidates a year to recruit and train talented band 5 graduates into your next band 6/7 technical specialists. We are commissioned by NHS England to recruit and train Data Analysts, Data Scientists, Software Developers, Cyber Security, Change / Project Management and Business Analysts into 100’s of vacancies across Trusts, ICSs, CCGs, LAs and the healthcare system across England.  The fast track scheme aims to develop a sustainable pipeline of technical talent into the NHS.

During the pandemic we have seen a rapid uptake of digital and technological solutions within healthcare services. We know that the restoration of outpatient and elective care due to the impact of COVID will be a key priority for NHS trusts and commissioners to deal with the backlog of referrals and patients awaiting treatment. Digital and technological solutions are seen by NHSE and NHSx as route to dealing with this backlog but capacity and resourcing is required to implement these digital solutions. We can help with our pool of graduates to provide the resourcing for transformation, implementation and support to your clinical teams.

Radhika Rangaraju, Programme Director Digital PODAC - NHSX:

"The quality of candidates presented by the NHS DDaT scheme far exceeded my expectations and the calibre at the assessment centre was very impressive. I have also been very encouraged by the diversity of the talent pool that was tapped into to help shape the future of the digital services in the NHS "

This event is intended for managers within the NHS. The NHS Graduate Digital Data and Technology scheme, commissioned by NHS England, has experience of recruiting graduates into a range of Band 5 and Band 6 roles in both cities and hard to recruit rural locations. The scheme is the NHS’s largest informatics, digital, data and technology recruitment graduate programme, which has sourced, trained and supported over 180 DDaT graduates since 2018, and has 100 per cent of graduates successfully gaining higher banded roles within the NHS system.

The scheme has also successfully sourced and developed graduates for EPR implementations by scoping workforce requirements and providing a tailored graduate programme.
